Miles Ellner, 16, of Manhattan was arrested on June 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. for aggravated robbery. Ellner was issued no bond and remains confined at the North Central Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Center at the time of this report. Josie Friesen, 15, of Manhattan was arrested on June 2, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. for aggravated robbery. Friesen was issued no bond and remains confined at the North Central Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Center at the time of this report. These arrests are in connection to a report filed for aggravated robbery in the 1500 block of Pipher Ln. in Manhattan on April 11, 2025. A 16-year-old male was listed as the victim and a 17-year-old female, a 17-year-old male, a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old female were listed as the suspects. The victim reported the suspects pointed a firearm at the victim and took items from him. This is an ongoing investigation and no additional information will be released at this time.
Darius Williams, 31, of Kansas City was arrested on June 2, 2025 at approximately 2:48 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from original charges of criminal damage to property. Williams was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Natascha Jones, 39, of Manhattan was arrested on June 3, 2025, at approximately 12:58 a.m. on a Geary County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Jones was issued a total bond of $25,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
