The RCPD responded to 19 incidents over the weekend of June 7 and 8, including a mix of accidents, property crimes, and drug-related activity.
One injury accident was reported in the 1800 block of College Avenue, while two other non-injury crashes occurred at N. 10th and Bluemont and at Sherman Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard near Leonardville.
Officers also investigated a burglary, several reports of larceny, and a criminal threat incident near S. Manhattan Avenue and Fort Riley Boulevard.
A domestic incident was reported at Georgetown Apartments early Sunday morning, and a drug-related arrest occurred hours later on Laramie Street.
Additional calls included juvenile issues at City Park, found property on Anderson Avenue, and multiple calls to speak with officers. Police also responded to an unwanted subject at Tubby’s bar.
Four individuals were arrested during the reporting period.
Austin Kirk Swafford, 40, of Manhattan, was arrested in connection with theft, trespassing, possession of narcotics, and multiple warrants, with a total bond of $16,500.
Isabella Jean Counts, 20, was arrested in Aggieville for underage drinking, possessing a fake ID, and interfering with law enforcement.
Shobana Kubendran, 48, of Andover, was taken into custody following a domestic call and charged with criminal damage to property.
Juston Marvin Staley, 42, was arrested for a probation violation near Linear Trail.
