    Wamego sets fall football schedule

    After capturing the North Central Kansas League title and earning the No. 1 seed in Class 4A West, Wamego football’s 2024 season ended in heartbreak with a 28-14 sectional loss to Buhler.

    The 9-2 Red Raiders, who defeated Buhler earlier in the season, will aim for another league championship and a deeper playoff run in 2025.

    Sept. 5 — vs. Concordia, 7 p.m.

    Sept. 12 — at Rock Creek, 7 p.m.

    Sept. 19 — vs. Marysville, 7 p.m.

    Sept. 26 — at Hayden, 7 p.m.

    Oct. 3 — vs. Buhler, 7 p.m.

    Oct. 10 — vs. Chapman, 7 p.m.

    Oct. 17 — at Clay Center, 7 p.m.

    Oct. 24 — at Abilene, 7 p.m.
