Kansas State guard CJ Jones controls the ball during the Wildcats’ 74-56 non-conference win over Mississippi Valley State, Nov. 19, at Bramlage Coliseum.

Guard CJ Jones is staying put.

After entering the NCAA transfer portal in April, the rising senior has withdrawn his name and will return to Kansas State for the 2025-26 season, the team announced Sunday.

Jones played in all 33 games for the Wildcats last season, starting nine. He averaged 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 18.9 minutes per game, shooting 40.7% from the field and 30.9% from three. The East St. Louis native posted a season-high 12 points in a road win at UCF on Feb. 26 and provided steady minutes throughout Big 12 play.
