K-State on Wednesday announced the closure of the school’s center for LGBTQ+ connection, advocacy and education.
Thomas Lane, vice president for academic success and student affairs and dean of students, published a letter announcing the closure of the K-State Spectrum Center effective July 31. He did not say what led to the decision to close the center.
Lane said the center has contributed to the university’s “national recognition as a campus that values LGBQ+ students.”
