    Officers filed a report for attempted burglary and criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Laramie St in Manhattan on July 16, 2025, at approximately 10:48 a.m. A 45-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were listed as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged their door. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Natalya Bronaugh, 24, of Manhattan was arrested on July 16, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m. for a Riley County District Court warrant for violation of court order. Bronaugh was issued a total bond of $10,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

    Dylan Smith, 34, of Manhattan was arrested on July 16, 2025, at approximately 3:26 p.m. for a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Smith was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Macaiah Anderson, 23, of Manhattan was arrested on July 16, 2025, at approximately 3:31 p.m. for a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from an original offense of two counts of distribute opiate/opium/narcotics/stimulants within 1000 feet of school property. Anderson was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 600 block of S Seth Child R. in Manhattan on July 16, 2025, at approximately 8:50 pm. Home Depot was listed as the victim when it was reported a 65-year-old man and a 54-year-old man took multiple tools. The tools were later recovered in Shawnee County, Kansas. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $5,559.
