RCPD Report: 7/21/25

Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary and violation of a protection order in Ogden on July 17, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m. A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 29-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Keith Rea, 29, of Junction City, KS was arrested for violation of a protection order and aggravated burglary. Rea was issued a total bond of $15,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 900 block of Moro St in Manhattan on July 18, 2025, at approximately 7:14 a.m. A 21-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took his 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,000. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Nicholas Chavez, 23, of Manhattan was arrested on July 18, 2025, at approximately 1:36 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from an original offense of interference with law enforcement and two counts of battery of law enforcement. Chavez was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on July 18, 2025, at approximately 3:43 p.m. A 17-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 19-year-old man known to her was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

Caleb Harris, 23, of Wichita, KS was arrested on July 18, 2025, at approximately 5:23 p.m. on two Sedgwick County District Court warrants for aggravated escape from custody and probation violation. Harris was issued a total bond of $60,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for aggravated battery, aggravated endangering a child, driving under the influence; 3rd conviction, flee or attempt to elude, driving while license cancelled/suspended/revoked, and failure to stop at accident. A 2-year-old girl, and two 1-year-old boys were listed as the victims and a 23-year-old man was listed as the suspect when it was reported the suspect operated a vehicle while intoxicated, fled from police, crashed the vehicle then fled the area. Mason Moon, 23, of Manhattan was arrested for three counts of aggravated battery, three counts of aggravated endangering a child, driving under the influence; 3rd conviction, flee or attempt to elude, and failure to stop at accident. Moon was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Kamron Tucker, 23, of Lawrence, KS was arrested on July 18, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated battery. This stems from an original report filed on March 26, 2025. Tucker was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for theft and criminal damage to property in the 1200 block of Kearney in Manhattan on July 20, 2025, at approximately 1:27 a.m. A 22-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged his bicycle lock and took his Revi Cheetah electric bicycle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $2,175. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Bryan Painter, 38, of Manhattan was arrested on July 20, 2025, at approximately 10:55 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for four counts of identity theft, two counts of criminal use of a financial card, four counts of unlawful acts with a computer, theft and attempted theft. This warrant stems from reports filed in December 2024 and January 2025. Painter was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

Quindale Jackson, 43, of Kansas City, MO was arrested on July 20, 2025, at approximately 5:53 p.m. on a Miami County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Jackson was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. Additionally, Jackson was arrested at 7:34 p.m. on a Kiowa County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Jackson was issued a total bond of $1,500 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Keith Via Jr, 24, of Burnsville, MN was arrested on July 20, 2025, at approximately 2:20 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Via was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
