This warrant stems from original charges of possession of stolen property. Newman was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for theft in the 1800 block of Fair Lane in Manhattan on July 21, 2025, at approximately 4:42 p.m. Affordable Electric was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took a white enclosed cargo trailer. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $5,000.
