Robert Gibbons, 35, of Manhattan, was arrested on July 22, 2025, at approximately 12:15 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for sexual battery. This warrant stems from a report that was originally filed in May 2025. Gibbons was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for burglary in the 1800 block of Priboth Road in Manhattan on July 22, 2025, at approximately 1:31 p.m. Jeffery Jones was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took 80 pheasants and three firearms. Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in the 700 block of Freemont Street in Manhattan on July 22, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m. A 17-year-old man was listed as the victim and a 23-year-old woman was listed as a suspect when it was reported the suspect threated the victim with a knife.
Randall Chilson, 24, of Manhattan, was arrested on July 22, 2025, at approximately 5:27 p.m. on a Marshall County District Court warrant for probation violation. Chilson was issued a total bond of $25,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
