    Brandon Norris, 27, of Topeka was arrested on July 3, 2025, at approximately 12:31 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Norris was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary, aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim, and criminal damage to property in the 500 block of Bluemont Ave. in Manhattan on July 3, 2025, at approximately 10:38 p.m. A 33-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man were listed as the victim when it was report a 45-year-old man entered their residence in violation of a protective order, damaged a door, and threatened the victims. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $150.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary, aggravated domestic battery, criminal damage to property, sexual battery, criminal deprivation of property, violation of a court order and aggravated kidnapping in Manhattan on July 5, 2025, at approximately 5:18 p.m. A 34-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 37-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Due to nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated criminal sodomy and rape in Manhattan on July 5, 2025, at approximately 9:13 p.m. A 14-year-old female was listed as the victim and a 33-year-old man known to her was listed as the suspect. Due to nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated criminal threat and attempted battery in the 1100 block of Bluemont Ave. in Manhattan on July 6, 2025, at approximately 8:08 a.m. A 44-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a 39-year-old man threatened her and attempted to spit on her. Henry Jones, 39, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated criminal threat and attempted battery. Jones was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 1000 block of Sunset Ave. in Manhattan on July 6, 2025, at approximately 1:51 p.m. A 42-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took multiple power tools and hand tools from his vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,300.
