A Manhattan man was hospitalized Sunday after being struck by a vehicle in the early morning hours.

Riley County Police say officers were called to the 200 block of Westwood Road at about 3:43 a.m. on Aug. 24 for an injury crash. When they arrived, they found 44-year-old Clark Trawick had been hit by an unknown vehicle.

Trawick was taken by Riley County EMS to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of major injuries before being transferred to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. Further investigation revealed the suspect vehicle was a 2008 Honda Pilot.
