    Manhattan, Rock Creek crack preseason volleyball rankings

    The Kansas Volleyball Association released its preseason rankings this week, as voted on by member coaches, with Manhattan High and Rock Creek both entering 2025 among the top teams in their respective classes.

    After finishing fourth at last year’s Class 6A state tournament, Manhattan High volleyball opens the season ranked No. 7 in the Class 6A poll. The ranking reflects expectations for another strong season under head coach Nicole Jones, who has guided the Indians to back-to-back state tournament appearances.
