    Several citations and incidents were reported in Riley County over the past week. On August 5, Anna Fazzari, 25, and Robert Phelps, 78, both of Manhattan, were cited in separate incidents for failure to yield the right of way. Emma Malleck, 23, also of Manhattan, was cited August 4 for leaving the scene of an injury accident, while Jeremiah Mesadieu, 19, of Fort Riley, was cited August 8 for speeding in Ogden. That same day, Mariah Swenson, 25, of Manhattan, was cited for expired or illegible vehicle tags, and Linda Schottler, 74, of Manhattan, was cited for failure to perform duty in a July 30 incident. On August 6, Julia Parcell, 54, of Manhattan, was cited for improper backing.

    In addition to traffic citations, Riley County Police responded to a variety of incidents between August 8 and 9. These included injury and non-injury accidents, assaults, battery, disorderly conduct, domestic disturbances, an escape from custody, trespassing, larceny, and multiple warrant arrests. Officers also investigated found property, a referral, an information report, and spoke with a citizen at the Manhattan Public Library. A total of 19 incidents were recorded during this reporting period.
