    RCPD seeks tips in Sunday vehicle theft

    Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle reported Sunday afternoon in Manhattan.

    Officers filed a report at about 12:17 p.m. on Aug. 24 in the 1200 block of 12th Street, where a 70-year-old man reported that his red 2010 Ford Explorer had been stolen. The estimated loss is approximately $4,000.

    The Riley County Police Department urges anyone with information to contact RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
