    Riley man charged with more than 140 child sex crimes

    A Riley man is in custody on more than 140 counts of child sex crimes.

    The Riley County Police Department says 54-year-old David Sheltrown was arrested Thursday morning on 73 counts of aggravated internet trading in child pornography, involving children under 14. He also was charged with 73 counts of sexual exploitation of a child under 18.

    Bond was set at $1 million and he remains in the Riley County Jail.

    Police say the investigation is still active and no further details are being released.
