    Bond set at $5K for woman accused of stealing car

    A Manhattan woman is facing charges after police say she stole a car in the downtown area Tuesday morning.

    Officers were called just after 10:30 a.m. to the 600 block of Bluemont Avenue, where a 35-year-old woman reported her 2013 Acura was stolen. Police later recovered the vehicle and arrested 37-year-old Sarah Way of Manhattan.

    Way was booked into the Riley County Jail on a theft charge. Her bond was set at $5,000.
