    Clay Center driver, passenger injured in semi wreck

    Two people were injured after a semi slid off the road Tuesday afternoon in Clay County.

    According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2015 Freightliner was westbound on Kansas Highway 9, two miles east of Clifton when it drifted into the north ditch, overcorrected and then entered the south ditch and struck an embankment. The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m.

    The driver, 18-year-old Dillon Williams, of Clay Center, and a passenger, 55-year-old James Jensesn, of Morganville, were treated at Clay County Medical Center for minor injuries.
