Wilian Maldonado, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 1, 2025, at approximately 6:27 p.m., near the intersection of 3rd Street and Leavenworth in Manhattan, on a Jefferson Parish (La.) District Court warrant. Maldonado was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Inayjha Ware, 22, of Wichita, was arrested on August 31, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m., in the 1001 block of Seth Child Road in Manhattan, on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation and a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. These warrants stem from original charges of battery and theft. Ware was issued a total bond of $9,500 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of aggravated assault and criminal threat in the 1100 block of Moro Street in Manhattan, on August 30, 2025, at approximately 1:43 a.m. Victims are unknown, as it was reported a A 24-year-old man was antagonizing a group of individuals and was found with a gun. Enrique Morales, 24, of Fort Riley, was arrested on August 30, at approximately 1:45 a.m., for aggravated assault and criminal threat. Morales was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
