Officers responded to a report of an injury crash in the 9600 block of Anderson Ave., in Riley on Sept. 28, 2025 at approximately 8:39 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 2005 GMC Sierra 3500 driven by Carson Avery, 35, of Riley, had lost control after a dust cloud and wound up in a culvert. Avery was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Officers filed a report of aggravated battery, violation of a protection order, criminal damage to property and criminal trespass in Ogden on Sept. 28 at approximately 3:58 a.m. A 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman were both listed as suspects and victims in the report. Janaya Scott, 21, of Ogden, was arrested for criminal damage to property at 7:04 a.m. in Ogden. Scott was issued a total bond of $2,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail. Nevaeh Wilson, 20, of Ogden, was arrested for aggravated battery, violation of a protection order, criminal damage to property and criminal trespass at 4:09 a.m. in Ogden. Wilson was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of Sunset Ave., on Sept. 28 at approximately 2:14 a.m. Listed victims included three 18-year-old men when it was reported their vehicles were egged by an unknown suspect. The vehicles damaged include a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, a 2017 Ford Edge and a 2024 Volkswagen Jetta. The estimated total loss associated with this case is $3,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

Officers filed a report of criminal discharge of a firearm in the 1100 block of Moro in Manhattan, on Sept. 28 at approximately 1:43 a.m. Emoni Ruffins, 36, of Junction City, was arrested for criminal discharge of a firearm at approximately 5:15 a.m. in the 1100 block of Moro. Ruffins was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Scott Habluetzel, 45, of Manhattan, was arrested on Sept. 27 at approximately 11:30 p.m. near Fair Lane and Juliette Ave. on a Kansas Department of Corrections warrant for probation violation. He was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of vehicle theft Manhattan on Sept. 27 at approximately 1:45 p.m. A 19-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported a known 30-year-old suspect stole a rented 2012 Toyota Camry. The estimated total loss associated with this case is $6,000.

Officers filed a report of forgery in the 200 block of Johnson Road on Sept. 27 at approximately 12:54 p.m. Mid America Piano was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect forged a business check. The estimated total loss associated with this case is $5,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of criminal threat in the 1600 block of Leavenworth St. on Sept. 27 at approximately 8:34 a.m. Koltyn Moore, 30, of Manhattan, was arrested for criminal threat at approximately 9:04 a.m. in the 1600 block of Leavenworth St. Moore was issued a total bond of $7,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in Manhattan on Sept. 27 at approximately 2:38 a.m. A 21-year-old man was listed as the victim, while a known 27-year-old woman and 19-year-old woman were listed as suspects.

Osvaldo Bigas, 22, of Junction City, was arrested on Sept. 27 at approximately 2:10 a.m. in the 1100 block of Moro on a Geary County District Court warrant for probation violation. Bigas was issued no bond and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Officers filed a report of aggravated battery in the 2100 block of Patricia Drive on Sept. 27 at approximately 2:08 a.m. A 22-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported three unknown suspects attacked him with a knife. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

Officers filed a report of two counts of sexual battery and one count of interference with a law enforcement officer in the 300 block of Poyntz Ave. on Sept. 27 at approximately 12:43 a.m. Bryan Mosley, 34, of Manhattan, was arrested on two counts of sexual battery and one count of interference with a law enforcement officer at approximately 12:56 a.m. Mosley was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers responded to a scene of an accident near the 200 block of Fort Riley Blvd., on Sept. 26 at approximately 8:48 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a Ford Ranger was involved in a single-vehicle rollover accident driven by an unknown driver. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

Officers responded to a report of an injury crash at the intersection of Westwood Road and Fort Riley Blvd., on Sept. 26 at approximately 5:27 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a Mazda RX-8 driven by Andrew Depuy, 28, of Manhattan had crashed into a Toyota Rav4 driven by Jeremy Riley, 44, of Junction City. Additional passengers included Jessica Riley, 38, of Junction City, in the Toyota and Ayden Depuy, 7, of Manhattan, in the Mazda. Jessica Riley was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Jeremy Riley was issued a citation for failing to yield right of way at an intersection.
