Officers filed a report of aggravated assault at the intersection of Hayes Drive and McCall Road in Manhattan on Sept. 29, 2025 at approximately 11:36 p.m. A 30-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it reported an unknown male suspect pointed a handgun at her and drove away. Sarah Drake, 35, of Park City, was arrested on Sept. 29 at approximately 6 p.m. in the 1000 block of Seth Child Road on a Sedgwick County District Court warrant for probation violation. Drake was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Brian Havens, 46, of Manhattan, was arrested on Sept. 29 at approximately 3:21 p.m. in the 300 block of 5Th Street on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear; possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant; and use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia. The warrant arrest stems from original charges of possession of meth. Havens was issued a total bond of $23,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
