    Early-morning burglary reported at Manhattan business

    A local business reported a burglary early Tuesday morning in central Manhattan, prompting an investigation by the Riley County Police Department.

    Officers filed the report at approximately 6:18 a.m. on Oct. 29 in the 1100 block of Third Street. Antojitos El Sol was listed as the victim after it was reported that an unknown suspect broke into the business and stole a cash register.

    The estimated total loss from the incident is $1,280. Police have not announced any arrests in the case.

    Anyone with information is asked to contact the Riley County Police Department or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
