A Manhattan man who plead guilty to two counts of offender registration act violation last month was sentenced Monday to five years and one month in the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Daniel Logsdon, 43, was sentenced to 43 months for his first count and 18 months for the second. He will get credit for seven and a half months he already served in jail toward his sentence.
Logsdon’s convictions come from prior charges before he moved to Manhattan. Oregon District Court records show Logsdon was convicted in 2004 for sexual abuse and rape in the third degree. Other convictions include charges of assault and animal abuse.
