    MHS girls golf clinches perfect regular season; prepares for regionals

    Manhattan High girls’ golf capped an unbeaten regular season Monday with a dominant senior day performance at Stagg Hill Golf Club, winning its home invitational by 44 strokes to secure its eighth team title of the fall.

    “It’s been just a terrific experience,” head coach Paige McCarthy said of the historic regular season. “These girls are working so hard — I know I say that all the time — but their work ethic and their attitudes have really been refreshing. I think they’ve been a good example for the younger girls about what they need to do.”
