    One dead after car rolls into ditch in Riley County

    A 74-year-old Leonardville woman died Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash in rural Riley County, authorities said.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to the 12000 block of Green-Randolph Road at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 9. Upon arrival, they found that a 2017 Buick Encore, driven by Sharon Sando, had veered off the roadway and rolled into a ditch.

    Sando was pronounced dead at the scene.
