A pedestrian was injured Monday evening after being struck by a motorist in an SUV.
According to the Riley County Police Department, it happened around 6:30 p.m. near Manhattan Avenue and Bertrand Street. Arriving officers found 21-year-old Collin Rankin in the crosswalk, with injuries sustained from the incident. He was transported to Ascension Via Christi for treatment.
Police cited 78-year-old Larry Limbocker, of Manhattan for failure to stop at a red light.
