    RCPD: Manhattan man faces assault, abuse charges

    A Manhattan is behind bars after following a Thursday morning incident that led to multiple felony charges.

    According to the Riley County Police Department, 30-year-old Nathan Bell is charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic battery, two counts of mistreatment of a dependent adult and two counts of criminal damage to property. The victim in the case is a 65-year-old woman.

    Bell was issued a total bond of $48,000 and remained in custody as of Friday’s arrest report.
