    David DeJesus-Roman, 28, of Ogden, was arrested in the 1000 block of Seth Child Blvd., in Manhattan at approximately 8:16 p.m. on Oct. 23, 2025 on two Riley County District Court warrants for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and criminal use of a weapon. DeJesus-Roman was issued a total bond of $25,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of aggravated endangering of a child, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, contributing to child misconduct, reckless driving and two counts of interference with a law enforcement officer, at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 700 block of Allen Road. Jeremy Richmond, 33, of Topeka, was arrested at approximately 6:08 p.m. in the 2700 block of Buttonwood Drive for aggravated endangering of a child, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, contributing to child misconduct, reckless driving and two counts of interference with a law enforcement officer. Richmond was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of aggravated burglary and aggravated sexual battery at approximately 4:44 p.m. on Oct. 23 in Manhattan. A 55-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown male suspect entered her home and sexually battered her. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.
