Officers filed a report for aggravated assault at approximately 5:36 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2025 in the 400 block of Fort Riley Blvd. in Manhattan. A 60-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect hit him in the back of the head. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. William Bivens, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 11 a.m. on Oct. 31 in the 3500 block of Hudson Circle on a Geary County District Court warrant for probation violation and a Junction City Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. He was issued a total bond of $11,500 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
Officers filed a report for aggravated assault, two counts of domestic battery, two counts of mistreatment of a dependent adult, and two counts of criminal damage to property at approximately 6:41 a.m. on Oct. 30 in Manhattan. A 65-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 30-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Nathan Bell, 30, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 8 a.m. for aggravated assault, two counts of domestic battery, one felony count of criminal damage to property, a misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property, and two counts of mistreatment of a dependent adult in Manhattan. Bell was issued a total bond of $48,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
