Riley County Police officers responded to a series of incidents over the past two days, including assaults, warrants, and a reported stolen vehicle.
According to Friday and Saturday’s RCPD activity logs, officers were called to multiple locations across Manhattan for various reports, including a sexual offense, domestic disturbance, and a stolen vehicle reported early Saturday at the Manhattan Emergency Shelter on South 4th Street. Other calls included an assault near North 12th Street and Bluemont Avenue and a non-injury crash in the 1400 block of Anderson Avenue.
Among the arrests reported, Estevan Izik Rochin, 19, of Ogden, was taken into custody Saturday around 1:20 a.m. for unlawful discharge of a firearm in city limits, criminal carrying of a weapon, and interference with law enforcement. Brian Griffith, 25, of Junction City, and Isaiah Myers, 31, of Topeka, were arrested Friday on warrants for probation violation and failure to appear, respectively. Other arrests included Timoteo Guzman, 21, of Manhattan, cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
