    Officers filed a report for theft in the 100 block of Deep Creek Road in Manhattan on Oct. 7, 2025 at approximately 8:42 p.m. A 40-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole various construction equipment and tools, including a wheelbarrow, truck toolbox and copper cables/wires. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $8,000 to $10,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Jessica Urbina, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested on Oct. 7 at approximately 6:56 p.m. in the 1000 block of Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This arrest stems from an original charge of possession of fentanyl and hydrocodone. Urbina was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
