    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Tuttle Creek Blvd. and Casement Road in Manhattan on Oct. 8, 2025, at approximately 12:43 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 2011 Dodge Caliber driven by David Fliter, 27, of Manhattan, was hit by a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix that left the scene. Through the investigation, the driver was identified as Kimberly Blasing, 60, of Manhattan. Fliter declined transport to Via Christi Hospital. Blasing was arrested at approximately 1:54 p.m. in the 400 block of Walters Drive for aggravated battery, driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and duty of driver to give information. Blasing was issued a total bond of $8,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
