    RCPD: Suspect stole safe from northwest Manhattan

    Authorities are investigating a theft reported late Monday night in northwest Manhattan.

    Riley County Police say it happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Crescent Drive, a few blocks north of Amanda Arnold Elementary School. A 34-year-old woman accuses a person known to her of entering her home and stealing a safe. The estimated loss totals about $1,350.

    No arrests have been made. RCPD is continuing to investigate.
