    Scooter rider injured in North Manhattan Ave. crash

    An 18-year-old Manhattan man was injured in an accident at 10:23 p.m. Monday near the intersection of North Manhattan Avenue and Fremont Street.

    Riley County police officers found a Lexus driven by Claire Holt, 21, of Manhattan had struck Philip Trice-Ortega, who was driving an electric scooter. Trice-Ortega was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital for treatment of his injuries and Holt was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign.
