A Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday evening on two outstanding warrants and is now facing additional charges.

Riley County Police say William Benner, 24, was taken into custody Wednesday evening in the 400 block of Fort Riley Blvd on warrants for failure to appear, stemming from past charges of drug possession and driving without a license.

During his arrest, Benner was additionally charged with interfering with law enforcement and trafficking contraband into the jail.

He remains jailed on a total bond of $18,500.
