Kansas State University will begin the first campus restoration projects on its Campus Master Plan in January. After the Kansas Board of Regents approved the plan in September, K-State is moving on to the design phase.
“We’re beginning a number of projects from the Kansas Campus Restoration Act,” said Lisa Johnson, assistant vice president for planning, design and construction. “We’re starting design on a number of those projects.
Johnson said the first projects include restoring the exterior of Anderson Hall, renovating the central portion of Seaton Hall, demolition of Shellenberger Hall, renovating the Trotter Lab, remodeling the south part of Kedzie Hall for the Wildcat One Stop and renovating the Bioprocessing and Industrial Value-Added Program facility.
