    K-State women sign Slovenian talent to 2025-26 roster

    K-State women’s basketball head coach Jeff Mittie has added an international talent to the 2025-26 roster, as Ivona Scekic from Slovenia has signed with the Wildcats. She will join the team in mid-December.

    A 6-foot-4 center from Ljubljana, Slovenia, Scekic has played in numerous European events in her national team’s program. Scekic has taken part in the 2025 FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket, the 2025 FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket, the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket and the 2023 FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship.
