A Manhattan woman was arrested Friday evening following a report involving criminal damage, drug paraphernalia and the battery of a police officer.

Riley County Police filed the initial report around 5:26 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 500 block of Manhattan Avenue. Officers said the incident involved criminal damage to property and the use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to RCPD, 33-year-old Asia Foster was taken into custody at about 6:45 p.m. for criminal damage to property and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Foster also faces a charge of battery of a law enforcement officer after she allegedly battered a 25-year-old male officer during the arrest.

Foster was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
