    MHS football meets undefeated Maize in sectional showdown

    Manhattan High football is headed into one of the state’s marquee matchups Friday night — a sectional-round showdown at top-seeded Maize, the lone undefeated team in Class 6A.

    The Eagles enter 10-0 and have won 16 of their last 17 games dating back to last season. The one loss in that stretch? Manhattan’s 49-0 win in last year’s regional matchup at Bishop Stadium.
