Rain–snow mix moves through Kansas with gusty winds Saturday

    0
By KMAN Staff on November 29, 2025 Local News, Weather Stories

Light to moderate rain showers will continue through Saturday morning before gradually changing to a rain–snow mix and eventually all light snow from sunrise into early afternoon. The National Weather Service says any meaningful accumulation will be limited to far northern Kansas along the Highway 36 corridor, where up to an inch of snow is possible. Elsewhere, only trace amounts are expected before the system exits by mid-afternoon.

Gusty northwest winds behind the front may create minor travel impacts, especially in areas still seeing light snow. Winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected from mid-morning through early evening, potentially reducing visibility at times.

Stay tuned to News Radio KMAN for the latest updates. Drivers planning to travel are encouraged to check kandrive.org for current road conditions.
