    Officers filed a report of theft at approximately 5:27 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2025 in the 2400 block of Browning Ave. A 54-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his son’s iPhone 16 at a recreation center in Manhattan. The total loss associated with this case is $1,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for vehicle theft at approximately 2:53 p.m. on Nov. 10 in the 2600 block of Anderson Ave. A 42-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it reported an unknown suspect stole her 2016 GMC Acadia from a parking lot. The vehicle was later recovered. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report of theft at approximately 2:04 p.m. on Nov. 10 in the 1300 block of Hudson Ave. A 73-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole money during a meeting to purchase items for sale. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $9,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for violation of the offender registration act and aggravated violation of the offender registration act at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Nov. 3 in the 1100 block of Garden Way. Timothy Cohill, 46, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:05 p.m. on Nov. 10 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on five counts of violating the offender registration act, two counts of aggravated violation of the offender registration act and a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for probation violation. Cohill was issued a total bond of $75,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Jesse Brewer, 32, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 12:46 p.m. on Nov. 10 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Pottawatomie County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Brewer was issued no bond and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

    Officers filed a report of vehicle theft at approximately 11:56 a.m. on Nov. 10 in the 1400 block of Hartman Place. A 27-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his 2010 GMC Terrain. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $5,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.
