    Officers filed a report for vehicle burglary at approximately 2:16 a.m. on Nov. 13, 2025 near Bluemont Ave. and 11th Street. A 55-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect broke into his vehicle a stole various audio and electronic equipment. The estimated total loss associated with this case is $12,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Aric Thompson, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 12 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Junction City Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear and a Geary County District Court warrant for probation violation. Thompson was issued a total bond of $11,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

    Officers filed a report of theft at approximately 8:21 a.m. on Nov. 12 in the 1600 block of Anderson Ave. A 76-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown individual entered her hotel room and stole personal belongings.

    Anyone with information about a crime can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
