    Officers filed a report for theft of property or services, disorderly conduct and three counts of battery of a law enforcement officer at approximately 4:35 p.m. on Nov. 22, 2025 in the 3000 block of Anderson Avenue. Victims included a 59-year-old man, a 48-year-old man and a 28-year old man. Leap was also listed as a victim. Karen Parra, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested for three counts of battery of a law enforcement officer, theft of property or services and disorderly conduct at approximately 4:53 p.m. Parra was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury accident with pedestrians at approximately 10:01 a.m. on Nov. 22 near the 400 block of Poyntz Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found that 2015 Nissan Altima, driven by Bimel Kanti Paul, 76, of Manhattan, had struck Edward Thompson, 82, of Manhattan, while in a crosswalk, who then fell into Susan Thompson, 82, of Manhattan. Edward Thompson was transported to Via Christi for treatment of minor injuries. Paul was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way to pedestrians in the crosswall.

    Joseph Brown, 22, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the 5500 block of Stone Crest Court on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation and a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of aggravated battery and domestic battery and driving while suspended. Brown was issued a total bond of $11,000 and remains in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    TJ Grant, 37, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:09 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the 1800 block of College Avenue on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of residential burglary, forgery, interference with a law enforcement officer and violation of protection orders. Grant was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of aggravated indecent liberties with a child at approximately 5:32 p.m. on Nov. 21 in Manhattan. A 3-year-old girl was listed as the victim. A 22-year-old man known to the victim was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released at this time.
