The Manhattan Fire Department was called out overnight to a fire alarm at K-State’s Weber Hall, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
Crews were called out just after 5 a.m. to 1424 Claflin Road, arriving to smoke observed in the structure and later upgrading the alarm.
The cause of the smoke was found to be a malfunction with the meat smoker.
