The Riley County Police Department made two drug-related arrests Wednesday in unrelated cases.

In the first incident, officers arrested 32-year-old Theresa Cleveland of Manhattan around 12:06 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza. Cleveland was taken into custody on a Saline County District Court warrant listing charges of possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant; possession of marijuana with two or more prior convictions; aggravated endangering of a child; and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. She was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

In a separate case, officers filed a report around 11:14 a.m. Nov. 19 near Juliette Avenue and Yuma Street involving possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police say 28-year-old Skylar Henson of Manhattan was arrested about 17 minutes later in the 500 block of South Juliette Avenue. Henson faces charges of possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture or cultivate a controlled substance; possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant; and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

Henson was issued a total bond of $7,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
