A Manhattan woman was arrested Monday afternoon following a report of battery on a law enforcement officer.
Riley County Police say officers filed the report around 4:46 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. A 38-year-old female officer was listed as the victim after a 41-year-old woman allegedly battered her.
Police arrested 41-year-old Mahbooba Babrakzai on a charge of battery on a law enforcement officer.
Babrakzai was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
