    37-year-old woman arrested on drug and contraband charges

    A Manhattan woman was arrested Friday afternoon following a drug-related investigation near 15th Street and Fort Riley Boulevard.

    Riley County Police say officers filed the report around 2:55 p.m. Dec. 26 for possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant; use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia; and trafficking contraband into a correctional facility.

    Police arrested 37-year-old Molly Meeks around 3:10 p.m. on all listed charges.

    Meeks was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
