City commissioners will consider 2026 funding recommendations from the Community Support Funds Advisory Board during Tuesday evening’s meeting.
CSFAB makes annual recommendations on how to distribute and grant social services funds and special alcohol funds to agencies providing related services in the community.
The 2026 budget includes $557,000 in social services funding ($100,000 coming from opioid funds and remainder from the general fund) and $550,000 in special alcohol funding. Grant agreements based on approved funding from the city commission will be executed in December 2025 for the 2026 budget year and funds will be distributed in quarterly installments.
