Houston Football head coach Willie Fritz announced the hiring of former Kansas State quarterback and Ring of Honor member Michael Bishop as an offensive assistant on Wednesday.
Bishop, a Heisman finalist for K-State in 1998, joins the Cougars from Legacy School of Sport Sciences in Spring, Texas, following five years as head coach where he led the Titans to a 36-21 record at the helm.
Incoming five-star signee quarterback Keisean Henderson played under Bishop at Legacy School of Sport Sciences last season, as both will connect once in scarlet and white.
