    MHS girls cruise in home opener over Salina Central

    Manhattan High girls’ basketball opened its home schedule on Tuesday with a 65–44 win over Salina Central.

    The Indians (3-1) controlled the game from the opening run to the final buzzer behind a balanced scoring night and another wave of bench production. Junior Jelena Depusoir powered the Indians with 17 points, while Avery Ingram added 13, senior Delaney Larson scored 9 and Ansley Becket chipped in 8.
