A Kansas City, Kansas man was taken into custody Monday afternoon on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.

Riley County Police say 20-year-old Maxzimas Lightfoot was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. The warrant stems from original charges of battery and resisting arrest or obstructing an officer’s duties.

Lightfoot was issued no bond and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
